Have Xur Sell the Ghorn!
honestly i must have the worst rng luck ever.
i have been here since beta and i still dont have a ghorn.
i try and complete all the nf/gorgon/death singers/atheon/crota every week, yet i still dont have one.
i usually have the highest kills in nf/raids, yet i dont get the ghorn.
im starting to believe that the ghorn has been removed from my loot table.
furthermore, trying to get into lv34/35 PoE is like applying for a job.
you have to basically post your resume on LFG and hope that someone messages you.
the community has enabled scrubs to be chosen over skilled players because they have the ghorn.
it takes no skill to use the ghorn, you just shoot the damn thing....
end game content has become one simple requirement...
no ghorn = no party
we seriously need Xur to sell the Ghorn so everyone can enjoy this game as much as everyone else.
im at 800 hours in this game and to be honest...at this rate, by the time Destiny 2 will come out, i still wont have a Ghorn.
its getting ridiculous.

I just got my second Ghorn last night via the night fall. The first time I was being carried through the nightfall on an (at the time) lower level character. I noticed that most people get it from doing the bare minimum in a nightfall. I have played with 4 other people who didn't do crap and got it. Even if Xur sells it, there will still be community division of the people who strived for it and got it in a drop and the people who bought it using strange coins. Those people who have been unlucky getting it via RNG deserve to get it, but trust me when I tell you that it will mean more if you have it dropped. It takes away from it being special for everyone. I never got the Heart of Praxic Fire in a drop. I wanted it so bad but I didn't want xur to sell it because EVERYONE would use it. Then he sold it and everyone had it. It kinda made it lame. Just keep being patient and you will get it eventually. One way or another.

2 RepliesI know the feeling. Over 1000 hrs, even counting days played isn't accurate since I've had six characters total made. Played since beta and I have every other exotic except Jellyhorn, Nechrochasm and HoW exotics.

12 RepliesI am completely convinced that the Ghorn is not coded into my copy of Destiny. That said, at this point, I DONT WANT Xur to sell it. I still want it to drop for me after I have done one of the missions. If Xur sold it, of course I would buy it. But I would not feel that sense of pride and reward that the Ghorn deserves. Just me though.

1 ReplyThis community is so divided and this divide is becoming toxic. Players are being excluded from certain groups because of this one weapon. It needs to be sold sooner rather than later. The longer Bungie waits to put it in Xur's table the more toxic and divided the community will be once it is finally sold. Personally, I think Bungie is siding with the "earn it" community, at least for the time being.

I don't have one either. Day one beta player here btw, and I can honestly say this dude is never going to sell it again. Just not going to happen. Sorry.

6 RepliesBungie obviously controls Xur's inventory. Someone data mined there are two Xur. Regardless whether Xur/Bungie decides to sell the gjallarhorn, it needs to be nerfed.

Ghorn was supposed to be in the Possibility for Xur to sale. When bungie took it away, they broke faith with us the players. Bungie put it on sale. Enough of manipulation of the RNG system to suite your vision of game play.

I started a post about nerfing or at least balancing the Ghorn and people exploded. Seriously man, it's easier just to steer clear of these forums. All people are gonna do (especially if you say something about Gally) is rip on you. Naturally it'll be unintelligible, but unnecessary ripping nonetheless. I'm with you 100% otherwise.

To the not getting a Gjallarhorn: I'm sorry, but tough luck. I didn't get my ghorn til about a month ago and I've played since the beta. To Xür selling it: -blam!- no, then all the noobs can have it and having one won't be special anymore. To the thing about not getting parties: go get real live friends and get them to play this game. Bungie made it reliable on sociality for a reason.

I say Yes. This game has gone to the shit hole. No one should have to play it over and over and over an never get the item they want. I have the big G and I haven't been on since launch of game. So I say give them the G. No one earns it on this game it is given to them by luck anyways

None of you stats or rankings in activities will increase your chance of getting it. It is completely random (with maybe a slight exception on rankings in crucible matches).
