For a white rapper to come out of the battle scene in Detroit, where he starts off losing in most people's eyes till he slaughters the opponent, and gets noticed by someone as high-profile as Dr Dre, is pretty damn impressive.
He's not afraid to try out a shit-load of different styles and a wide variety of background types.
Whether someone likes his voice or not, personal preference. That said, his rap game can't be denied.
