Sure most of us have beaten the prison of elders, maybe most of those same people have been to the lighthouse, but there's tons of armor still to be found. There's a PoE helmet, chest, gauntlets, boots. For each of those, There's perks that work against fallen, hive, vex, cabal. Now for each of those, There's warlock, hunter and Titan. Let's not forget all of the elemental primary weapons. So sure some people may have reached 34 the first day on all of their characters but there's still lots of gear to find, if you really want a challenge
