Oh I know you can't make them too short lol
I shot clay pigeons with s pump shotgun once, really fun but I like the simplicity of break actions

I like all guns, lol. I just hate the length restrictions because any halfwit with a hacksaw can cut a gun down, and Randy the Robber doesn't care if it's illegal.

Yeah dude. Anything that doesn't need to be timed (recoil or gas-operated semi-autos) can be shortened with 30 minutes of free time and a hacksaw. I cut my Mossberg's barrel down (19", so still legal) with a pipe-clamp and a hacksaw. Did my buddy's the same way.

Oh, so it's legal to do as long as the barrel meets length requirements? I just might try that
-
Yep, so long as the barrel stays 18" or longer, and your overall length remains 26" or longer. triple-check your measurements! Violation of the 1934 NFA by manufacturing an unregistered "short barreled shotgun" is worth 10 years in prison, and possession of the same is another 10 years. So be sure you stay legal. Also, a pipe-clamp around the barrel will help you make a much cleaner cut. Once it's cut, shoot a slug through it to debur the inside of the muzzle.

Looks like I have a new summer project haha
