Based on how PvP is ruled by Thorn an Hand Cannons (Forums and in game PvP is evidence to this) need something doing to balance it.
I think a solution would be to improve the headshot multiplier on Auto Rifles slightly, atm they are useless outside of the Vex.
I think No Lands Beyond (Sniper) needs major work, the fact it has no scope but has lens glare when you zoom in, how does that work? It's unfair. It needs the lens flare removed and a higher damage or a higher rate of fire. Again the weapon is completely useless.
Thorn needs a little nerf, i think the Poison should only activate upon critical hits and when the killer has died the poison over time should deactivate. And Hand Cannons in general need the headshot multiplier slightly nerfed or nerf the rate of fire, they kill way too fast and easily.
Auto Rifles need a buff to make them at least competitive, even the best Auto Rifles are useless on PvP even with headshots you're 80% of the time going to die, suggest improvement on impact or headshot multiplier
What do you agree with?

No Land Beyond doesnt need a buff. It is actually very good in crucible if you know how to use it. Thorn doesnt need a nerf. Three little words or the messanger will out shoot thorn at all but the closest range. People dont like it because they just stand there and shoot. Hand cannon range could stand to be nerfed a bit, but it certainly isn't that big of a deal. If you want to talk about hand cannons, what about timurs lash or ill will. 95 damage for a head shot, so its still a 3 shot kill to the head, except you shoot twice as slow as any other hand cannon. Fix that. As far as thorn, just learn how to play against it.

Bring auto rifles back crucible was more balanced and fun back at release

Buffing NLB would make it one op mother-blam!-er and you'd all cry for a nerf
-
I'm not an active Thorn user - I tend to favor rifles more - but I've used mine and faced down enough of them used by others to know that any of the nerfs you recommend would kill its PVP viability. As it stands, Thorn's residual damage is barely on-level with the Incendiary Knife, and it doesn't stack with itself or with other afterburn effects. It's pretty much as balanced as it's going to get. Thorn's prevalence isn't due to any one real magic bullet of a situation, but more due to the combination of Auto Rifle nerfing (resulting in many players who primarily mained Atheon's End, Hard Light, and Suros Regime leaving it en masse), paired with players just not liking the other main weapon types (Pulse Rifles and Scout Rifles are dramatically under-used, even though Bad Juju and Red Death are amazing by all accounts). Thorn is one of the only Exotics that pretty much any player can get that will actually see constant use because it's that damned good at what it does. There's no RNGesus involved with Thorn - it's all your own skill and strength. There's better Hand Cannons, even in the Legendary tier, but none that are anywhere near as easy-to-get, ubiquitous, or effective as Thorn is for how good an investment it is. The solution isn't to nerf Thorn, it's to carefully adjust the other weapons for improved usability. Rather an a blanket buff to Auto Rifles, a more measured, analytical approach is needed, with each weapon receiving detailed analysis.

Biased poll is biased

We just need all weapons buff except hand cannons

I wish they would buff no land beyond. Its an exotic, its meant to stand out because of that but its so s**t at the moment that when you get it from the nightfall you break down into tears because of how bad it is. Its simple buff impact and stability and finally no more tears will be shed over how s**t it is.

I like NLB the way it is, except for the fact that it's a primary weapon (or, at least, it occupies your primary spot). It would be great (to me) to sit as "one of three exotic snipers from which to choose." I don't expect for a second they'd change that aspect of the gun -- they wanted a primary sniper -- but that's the only thing I'd change.
-
Nothing needs a nerf auto rifles just need a 2/3-3/4 of their nerfed damage back and it will be perfect
-
I have a friend who is an absolute monster with the No Land Beyond. It's a very specific gun build for a specific type of player. It doesn't need work
-
Why do people hate on NLB? I got my first one yesterday and took it into pvp and started dominating. I did it on my warlock if you're the kind of person that goes and looks at people's stats.
-
I think that NLB needs a cosmetic rework, above all else. Fix that ugly as sin Iron Sight, and reposition the bolt-action to be downard, rather than upward and obstructing FoV. Other than that, buff the ARs and we'll be fine. Anyone asking for more nerfs CLEARLY doesn't realize that Bungie goes overboard and cannot do it correctly. Not that any weapons need to be nerfed in the first place; that's just blatant whining.

Can't vote, option missing.... NLB ADS sway, should never been put in (NLB drains brainpower, why do guardians fail to stay with the gun when aiming? did they forget how to aim with snipers?), ... ROF and IMPACT could both use a slight buff, to just under Icebreakers stats Handcannons, have not noticed over use of them, but thorn, I would mess with how the DOT effect works (I do not think anyone should get a free kill, should still have to work for it, Have an idea for a change that removes that poison kill but still leaves thorn with a compromising buff good in and out of crucible)
-
I think everyone should stop talking about nerfs and buffs. It what is killed the game. Do more and it kills it even more.

Mix No Land Beyond's "The Master" with Outlaw and give it a one round mag so the RoF is dependent on the reload speed and skill of the user.
