Oh hello again! Tuning in on my actions again are we? Well, as of right now, I'm on an uncharted planet researching a quite primitive people. From what I've heard, they have a very deep understanding of "infinity".
This hellish desert will be the end of me I swear it! Despite what my wise teachings may lead you to believe, I'm not immortal. I simply don't age. I do believe I have already stated that Elise doesn't age either. We are a timeless pair, a never ending duet. I couldn't trust anyone else to accompany me on my journey.
You know, you may be waiting for a while. I hear it may take days to traverse this massive field of sand. Sorry for any dissap... it appears that Elise has found the village. Elise I could kiss you right now! No, no time, the elder awaits. Let's see...large grey building, massive colorful spiral at the top. Bingo! Come on Elise, this could be the connection we've been missing!
The entrance doesn't look too nice. It looks like it could collapse at any moment. This might not be such a good idea after all. Wait, the elder is opening the door for us. I guess he heard our foot steps.
Oh my goodness! I wish you could see what I see right now! He has the entire quadrant of this galaxy mapped out in extreme detail! This...this shouldn't be possible. This species has no means of space travel, nor the means of observing past their solar system. Even more strange is the elder himself. His skin is pure black. Darker than even the darkest portion of space. Bones. Bones and skin are all this man appears to be. No sign of organs exist. Only his eyes, his pure white eyes, stood out against this black skeleton. These eyes seemed to truly see everything, yet see nothing at all. He spoke no words, but I already knew to sit down and listen.
"I know who you are, and I know why you come. You seek infinity, yet you know only the smallest bit, the most insignificant portion, less than half an electron's worth, about it. You wish to find a person without knowing their name, nor their gender, nor their actions, nor their purpose, nor their motivations. You don't even know what it is you seek, yet you seek it. Not only do you not know what you seek, but your motivations are impure! You dare come into my inner sanctum, the only place of pure wisdom in this known galaxy, and offend me with your lack of knowledge!? Your very presence disgusts me, yet I see a desire to know, a desire to learn of Infinity's name, it's actions, it's purpose, it's motivations, it's secrets. You wish to know Infinity, both its goods and bads, but you have doubts. It is because of these doubts that I will not tell you what you seek, but I will tell you how to find what you seek. You will find what you seek where infinity ends. On the way there, clear your doubt, or what you will find will destroy you. Now leave me to my meditations."
Somehow I'm outside again. Here is Elise, staring me in the eyes. Those beautiful, crimson eyes, oh how I wish I could stare into them for all eternity. No, I need to find out what eternity truly is first. "Are you alright?" With a quick shake of my head, I reassure her that everything is fine. I'm glad that someone cares enough to ask. I wish I could tell her that.
I just need to decipher exactly what "the end of infinity" is. It appears that the answer to one question, was simply another question. I need to think on this with Elise. Until infinity becomes closer, this is Me, signing off.
