Edited by UnknoWnEmcee: 6/10/2015 10:51:01 AMIt's a question of if you've ever heard any hip hop on your own, or if you're lazy and was force fed Eminem. He isn't even in my top 30 white rappers lol. Sorry. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, but I'm a hip hop snob lol

Name the 30 white rappers ahead of him. It's not gonna happen without you making an ass out of yourself. You just have an apparent thing against Eminem.

Edited by UnknoWnEmcee: 6/10/2015 10:45:51 AMI do. His voice is obnoxious, but his gimmic is stolen from cage anyway RA Copywrite El P Yakballz cage Despot Aesop Rock Action Bronson MCA ad Rock Mike D Ill bill Everlast Big Left Eyedea Sage Francais Cecil Otter Thesis Sahib Mc Paul Barman Kno Buck 65 Rob Sonic Alaska Delta Mike Shinoda King Dom Dose One Circus Brother Ali (although he may not be) Mighty Mi This is just off the top of my head. Eminem has raw talent, his voice and material just sucks to me. RA, Aesop, Copywrite, El P and Despot would smash him anyday. This list is solid so I didn't make an ass of myself, sorry I know you wanted me to I also didn't list the other white cats that are garbage like bubba sparx, Paul wall, Asher Roth or any of that bullshit. I listen to a lot of good hip hop. And I make hip hop as well so I know I know too much and take it too seriously. Nothing against people having their own opinions and clearly I'm in the minority when it comes to not liking Eminem, but to me all these cats are far more heady and lyrical. And experimental with great flow and delivery

And I hardly listen to white rappers. But I'd put Eminem maybe somewhere in the top 100 of all time. Maybe 99

Edited by BWSflash80: 6/10/2015 3:22:51 PMNo offense, but that list is a joke. Half of It's filled with lesser knowns that he'd destroy, and the other well knowns, he's clearly a better rapper then. As much as I like them, he'd crush the Beastie Boys and Everlast one on one. Aside from being better than Mike Shinoda, Mike isn't even white.

Edited by UnknoWnEmcee: 6/10/2015 4:16:34 PMLol Mike isn't but I had to put someone you may have heard of. I can't stand linkin park. You're looking at my personal opinion as fact. That's silly. My taste is not your taste. I'll give you that he has more technical skill flow than Everlast and the beasties, pretty much everyone on that list is a legend in their own right. Lesser known to you doesn't make them not legit. The fact his early material was directly a rip of RA and Cage can't be ignored to me. Dose one was also put as a joke. His voice is almost as bad as Marshalls to me.
-
And you've got to be kidding me that he'd destroy half that list. In what a fake movie battle? You do know 8 mile was a movie right? You do know JUICE dismantled him right?
-
For a white rapper to come out of the battle scene in Detroit, where he starts off losing in most people's eyes till he slaughters the opponent, and gets noticed by someone as high-profile as Dr Dre, is pretty damn impressive. He's not afraid to try out a shit-load of different styles and a wide variety of background types. Whether someone likes his voice or not, personal preference. That said, his rap game can't be denied.

I feel that. I'm not questioning his talent or the way he played the game at all. I love RA for the fact he was slated to be the first huge white rapper with deals offered by everyone from "Russel Simmons to Master P" only to sign with Jive, get so disgusted by them signing ICP and Britanny Spears, that he took the advance, bought a house and a bunch of guns and never recorded the record lol. Mostly though white rap is emo or abstract which is cool for a bit, but really I love the gritty shitty dungeon sounding boom bap shit. Like your list on the last post. Sorry if I was a dick, I just love getting into tangles over hip hop. I assumed you were the typical "Eminem is the only rapper that's dope" person and boy was I wrong. Super props and blessings to you and major respect for having facts to back your opinion. not that you needed to, an opinion is ours to have and no one should cast judgement on someone's opinion. What's right to you is right for you and vice versa.
