For one it takes time playing pvp, try and play games as mush as you can so you can gain experience. When you play think it what your doing and why your doing it . I see a lot of players that just spawn and run out constantly to their death. If possible stay behind your team , like it or not you can use them as a secondary radar , they will get killed and you'll know where the enemy is by where your teammate died. Get a shotgun lol , preferably one similar to found verdict or secret handshake . If your asking for help I would assume your sniper game isn't up to par to use in crucible. Find a primary type of weapon that you like and stick with it, learn the gun and how to use it effectively. Try not to enter a "fair" fight , you always want to have some type of advantage over your opponent (you seeing them first, you shooting them first, you shooting them in the back, two on one) Don't be afraid to run, this game has a lot of unbalanced weapons , when you run into one of them *cough* last word , thorn .......then you need to run or avoid the battle IF you see that your losing. Good luck , there is more to learn but this right here will make a huge difference .
