I don't sport a neckbeard, and on principle alone I won't join any kind of "clan." I am a part of real clubs that meet up in real life (sports). I work. I go to college. I enjoy having sexual relations with women. All of those things require time and energy. When I want to power up the system and boogey, I want to power up the system and boogey. Don't wanna be diddle-daddling around wasting time on forums and vetting/being vetted.
I have friends I have made in other games still on my friends list that have been there for years. All made via matchmaking. Computers and programs are supposed to make life easier, not more complicated.

Well your point is invalid because I don't want to join a group. That's MY point. It didn't say "become legendary with a clan" on the box. And as such, I should still have direct access to other like-minded players. Give me 1 other experienced raider--give me Evil Genius, and we can carry 4 people to victory on VoG or Crota. Every time.
