One such feature I would like to see a return in Fallout 4 would be an improved Hardcore Mode from New Vegas.
The system would delve deep into the essentials, I.e several meters to monitor your sleep rate, fluid intake, and starvation, as well as adding weight to your ammo and making Stimpaks less effective.
The mode could also improve on like the "Super Hardcore Mode" mod developed by Obsidian's Chris Avellone (Who also worked on Fallout 1 and 2).
Obviously, for anyone that doesn't know, this feature would be optional.

I think I'm going to buy it on PC in the hopes that I'll find a command/mod to remove ghouls...they scare me so badly :(
-
well there are mods for fallout 4 for pc and xbox not the peasant station though LOOL
-
Yes. I enjoyed the challenge of having to act like a human being on occasion.
-
Very Hard/Hardcore is the only way to truly play Fallout.
-
Absolutely. The more game modes available, the better.
-
I'm actually hoping they add a bigger and better version of the fat man
-
What if they remove VATS?
-
When it's there I play it, but when a game is lacking that kind of mode, I don't miss it. There's a certain balance that needs to be struck between enhancing the survivalist themes and feel of the game versus turning it into The Sims: Wasteland Edition.

-
I could care less about that I just want to play the game
-
I dont care about that!
-
I would like them to include it for those real hardcore gamers to enjoy. Doesn't mean I am considering to play it though. I know I sound like a casual but it's true.
-
Hell yea
-
Would work out great like ark -You're hot, get to water -Get in water -You're freezing, get warm -Walk out of water -Hypothermia -Dinosaur eats you GG caveman Hopefully they do, they have nothing to lose by adding it.
-
Why not, it was in fallout 3 and new vegas, if you didnt want to you didnt have to use it and if you wanted an extra challenge then you could use it. I am always for the increasing of our options so that everyone can enjoy the game how they want.
-
Yes, but I know that they'll put an achievement for it and that makes me sad.
-
I have a feeling they will add it in. I remember going through the hardcore mode in NV, finishing it while not getting the achievement. Them I realized I already did the hardcore setting on my first play through. Never the less, it was still fun. The toughest part imo was the ammo weight addition, especially when strength was not leveled steadily.
I will not divulge the hours invested in FO/ES
A permadeath mode
-
Absolutely! It was a fun challenge after I basically knew everything about New Vegas.
-
I might use it after familiarizing myself with the game.
-
I wouldn't use it, but more options in a game never hurts.
-
Best part of New Vegas
-
I kinda wanted it in Skyrim. I hope they put it in some form for the next Elder Scrolls. P.S. Are there mods for any of the Elder Scrolls that do this?
-
Who the hell is that 10%?
-
I would like to see different temperatures, and maybe a customizable version like you can choose if you have to sleep but not eat or drink and if ammo weighs anything
