Dear Bungie Confidant DeeJ,
First let me say thank you for everything you do. I realize that many times you take the brunt of the community's heat for issues that are out of your control.
This post is not meant to offend, but is filled with blunt honesty.
Also, I realize that you can neither comment nor speculate on supposed expansion pack content, release dates, etc. I do not expect you to, however I feel the following needs to be said:
1) The House of Wolves Expansion was not an Expansion, just FYI, please see the below for what I think many people's complaints will be about the current expansion and the design in general:
1a) Prison of Elders, henceforth to be referenced as PoE. I like the Idea, but it hardly has any replay value. Maybe it has a bit more than current strikes....but yeah...the modifiers should be changed up every single time you go in there. Oh and by the way, this is not a raid. A raid is 6+ people. A raid is usually 10-40 in other MMORPGs.
1b) The items themselves for HoW were poorly designed, for example, like the titan helmet from PoE (Legendary). I have never met someone who thinks it looks good or cool. If you want to go see something that looks cool, google "Frostfire Regalia" it's from World of Warcraft. It's a little old, but...way more thought put into a design than some uninspired/dis-satisfactory armor design. I can also say that this type of design flaw is not limited to armor or weapons in the HoW. What about sparrows? All that has been done for the last two DLCs is put new shaders on sparrows, hardly imaginative. However, I will say the new Ceres Galliot was a step in the right direction! Whoever designed that ship should be given more responsibility for the aesthetics of design or a promotion! The difference between many of the pre House of Wolves ships and this ship is what should be expected for the quality and design in an expansion.
1c) Due to the lack of content in this DLC, which is not really a DLC or expansion because many hardcore players are already done with the content like my clan and as such I have no one to play with...
2) Tips for the Future:
2a) Raids for the future need to come with more content, content that is not soloable, and need to come more than one at a time. Just so you know, the only raid in many of my clanmate's eyes is Vault of Glass. We referred to Crota's End as a Strike amongst our clan. It was something of a running joke. If you want to see real mechanics for raids, go look at Zul Gurub (ZG) for World of Warcraft. Another good one is Razorgore the Untamed in Blackwing Lair in World of Warcraft, these are much like the raid encounters in Vault of Glass. Yes, both of the ones mentioned with respect to World of Warcraft have 20+ players, but the idea is the same, be inventive, be creative. Oh and one last thing...Make the LORE just as good as the raid, because many of the best videogames were always the ones with the best story. "Kingdom Hearts, FFX, FFVII, World of Warcraft, Skyrim, Oblivion, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of TIme, Halo...etc"
2b) If we paid $20 USD for 1 raid (Crota's End), don't you think if the suggested price of the supposed Taken King is $40-50),there should be more than 1 raid? Like 2 raids? Many of people that I know who play Destiny (70+) think that the House of Wolves content did not justify the cost and the hours of gameplay that we get. We don't care about some new class, that is like a bell or whistle, we don't want a bell or whistle, we want to be entertained.
2c) As you can see from the list of video games above, I have been playing video games for quite a while. Don't be afraid to cater the game to an older audience. The people who grew up with video games are starting to get married, have kids, etc. There are a lot of us with more buying power than teenagers and children.
2d) Last suggestion, really do your homework on development for MMO RPGs. I realize this is a new genre for Bungie, but if it is new, then you should really put for the effort. Don't be afraid to delay the release of new content just because of the pressure of a deadline...we may grumble when it is delayed, but we would be happier with a 1 month delay and an infinitely better product that is free of many bugs and glitches than get the content one month sooner.
If you need clarification or have any questions, let me know.
Thank you.

Relatable topics you have listed. One thing about the delay of content is that Bungie/Activision already showed that even after months delay of content, they still can't produce a solid product (HoW)

Good post. My 2 cents would be adding more content. I don't really care about lvl's and game modes that are so hard Bungie can't even beat them. I want more variety in gear and world maps/missions.
