Should Thorn be nerfed? Or should the guns be buffed?

(take note I do not own the video in any way I just wish to see people's opinions about it)
IMO I do believe he has a point since I'm pretty sure the second Bungie nerfs Thorn, its going to be Last Word, then Red Death, then Hand Cannons, etc.
I wish to see what would happen if they buff other guns up to par with the Thorn, since so few other guns is required to go against it. It's either going to cause a more variety of guns to appear or its just going to cause everyone to keep using Thorn like nothing happened, or some other gun that is better then Thorn.
Regardless if buffing the guns does not work then simply just reverse it to point that it will turn everything into marshmellow shooters. (Cough Auto Rifles Cough)
Either way I want your opinions, since my voice cannot be heard alone, leave your opinions below, for the sake of balancing the crucible and pve.

[b]Edit 1[/b]: I have yet to see anyone make a 15 paragraph long comment about why the Thorn should be nerfed lol. Keep those votes coming in and spread the word, Bungie needs to know.

[b]Edit 3[/b]: I should probably mention that this forum isn't for me entirely. It's more[b] targeted towards[/b] those who [b]talk about weapon balancing[/b] and [b]nerf callouts[/b]. Also [b]Bungie[/b] if they actually manage to read this and put this into consideration (maybe even put a comment in about the subject, that would be the day).
[b]BUT I will not stop you convincing me[/b] to believe what is better. Pretty much the reason why I made this post in the first place.

Well I think the hand canons themself are to strong compare to the rest of the weapons. I'be been playing Iron Banner this weekend, and really the most weapon I'm getting killed by is a Thorn, Hawkmoon or the Last Word. Of course there are others like shotguns, but most of the deaths are Thorn deaths. And it's just frustrating that a Thorn kills you in 2 simple shots, it's range is way to big and it's accuracy is way to good. I on the other hand, am using Auto rifles, but it nearly takes me a whole magazine to kill a simple person, while a Thorn only takes 2 shots. I also own the Thorn, but I'm not using it because I don't like hand canons. If you use a pistol in any other shooting game, a pistol isn't that accurate. Go play CoD, Battlefield or for the ones who know Socom, the bullets are everywhere instead of just straight ahead. Now I'm not saying I hate the Thorn because I don't like hand canons, but only because its far more powerful than an average gun. It kinda ruins crucible games, your only facing Thorn people in a team, go and create pistol only servers if you like them so much, but please bring back the variety in the game and lower the hand canons especially the Thorn, or increase the damage for auto rifles, coz I'm kinda disappointed at the moment.
