Call of Duty isn't the only series that needs to die, plenty more need to go and are past their time.

Soccer is the biggest sport in the world. Only two games in the genre are competing with each other, that's Fifa and PES. PES 15 is far superior to fifa 15 from a gameplay aspect, yet fifa sells more copy's because it has the monopoly on licences. Fifa brings in more revenue than other game published by E.A. I hate fifa, but it will never die. It is their cash cow.

The same reason as Call of Duty and Assassins Creed, past is time and it's time to pack it up but we all know Microsoft will find someway to have Halo going on for 20+ years.

M'kay. But in all seriousness custom games are what kept me playing reach and 4 and even 3 for a long time, halo 4 had ok multiplayer but heavies was soooo unbalanced because the enemy teams could steal the other teams vehicles and just spawn trap

Battlefield-style 32v32 humongous-big team battles with Pelicans and Phantoms and elephants and mammoths and all that cool shit.
