Final Round Compromise
There are lots of people complaining about final round. There are lots of people who use final round. I think a fair compromise would be to change it to luck in the chamber. It would still be a one shot, but people couldn't empty the mag.
I use final round and I'm not against it, its just people keep complaining so I thought of an idea.

Or, make it so you need to land precision kills with the 2 preceeding bullets before final round will activate.

Or remove it and make that a "against Non-Guardian" thing. Thorn is the most OP weapon in the game but it's obtainable to everyone through a bounty. So why is Final Round not available anymore? I personally would rather see it removed other wise everyone will be using Final Round if it was available. ToO will just be a sniper match of Final Rounds, who ever downs who first and the quickest will win. Garbage.

Awesome idea. The people down voting you are insane. The only critique I can see is by increasing the rounds in a cartridge for high impact snipers or just to simply let everyone get their own final round sniper. (like they did with fel winters.)

1 ReplyEmptying the mag is a terrible idea when you only spawn with two clips. Best to get two head shots and use the Final Round as a backup incase you can't get a third headshot.

It's not a terrible idea. I don't mind people with final round snipers but when the match starts and you immediately hear two shots fired or however many they need to hoot off, it feels cheap and desperate. I think a better solution would be to have the final round perk you have to land a hit with at least one round in the current mag for the final round effect to kick in or just make high rof low impact snipers be the only snipers with the perk

You should not be able to have a one hit body shit sniper in crucible even if it's luck or final. Great PVE perk but it needs to be completely removed for PVP snipers both luck and final.

Would be fine by me. I have final round on my LDR but I do not intentionally shoot the rounds off to get to the final round. Luck in the Chamber would probably be better for me.

If they didn't do Iron Banner the three or four times during which they could have gotten the ES through either vendor or drops, then i don't think bungie or anyone who does have final round should apologize for using it. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE had more than their share of tries to get it. Those can still be rerolled for final round, so I think this whole deal is #overblown

22 RepliesI would still have to reroll my spear then because the other perks were built around final round so I'd want my motes back. Already had over 100 lost when they replaced my rangefinder with grenadier on my felwinters.

Oh wait, it already does because it's a SNIPER. Bungie snipers have always been OP. They can kill Master Chief in just 1-2 shots! Also, E. Spear has [b]terrible aim assist, stability, and RoF.[/b] Final round simply makes up for its shortcomings IMO. But if you got an LDR 5001 with final round... congratulations, lucky player!

I don't think it's a terrible idea and I do care, wish I could've voted "Roll back driver" so it was just like before and people could just roll what they want. Personally I like Luck in the chamber more
