I was just thinking this yesterday when my friends who just got the game were at lvl 30 struggling to do VoG normal and when I was lvl 29 and 30 I was killing Atheon legit. It REALLY sucks that VoG armor drops at lvl 30 light and has to be upgraded and ascended when you can just buy vendor 32 gear and not have to upgrade it.

ya and you dont need shards or energy to max gear anymore ;P
