Jesus Christ.
I try to be nice to this man, and people are now gonna be shit attitude to me.
Alright, I can take whatever hating shit your throw at me just because of my beliefs that people can be forgiven for their sins.
Because I take enough shit everyday in IRL because of it, so insulting me over the Internet wouldn't do a damn thing.

Nobody insulted you. Stop playing the tough victim. It's a childish method of arguing. How do you feel about criminals? Because if you ask me, cheating is worse than stealing. Thieves deserve to be punished, and so do cheaters.

The sarcasm was taken as an insult. I apologize. And I'm not saying it's okay to cheat, but I am saying that God gives forgiveness to those who ask for it.

We are not God. We are bound to this reality, at least in this lifetime. Although forgiveness should be something we practice in such situations, the reality of it is that forgiveness very often yields negative outcomes such as continued bad behavior. I understand where you're coming from, but wrongdoers must learn one way or another, and such people only take advantage of forgiveness.

The guilt this man seems to be feeling should be punishment enough, though. At least, from what I've done, guilt is one of the worst feelings of all time. It weighs down on you, a constant reminder of your wrongdoing.

Firstly, if you reread the OP, nothing in it implies he feels guilty about his actions. The only thing that seems to be bothering him is that his wife and son are giving hia girlfriend the cold shoulder. Secondly, although guilt is a terrible feeling, I've learned from experience that pleasure outweighs guilt. People will constantly feel guilty and terrible after their mistakes, but will commit the same offense if it pleasures them in some way.
