When will Motes of Light become useful
There is hardly anything to purchase with Motes of Light... What should be the fix?
Edit: Thanks for the help! I don't keep up with the game too much so I was unaware. Much appreciated.

You can upgrade weapons and armor without grinding. Swallow telemetries and use your motes. Their actually the best thing in this game.

6 RepliesWith the recent DLC and update, and newly acquired vendor or queens wrath weapons (when equipped) can be reforged at the gunsmith in exchange for motes of light, weapon parts, and glimmer. The reforge option will reset and upgrade progress on the weapon, but will give you the chance to obtain perks on a weapon that you prefer. For example, I obtained a hand cannon from crucible, it came with outlaw and final round, as well as an optional perk tree I didn't like, so I brought it to the gunsmith and gave him 1 mote of light, 20 weapon parts, and 200 glimmer, about 15 times, till the hand cannon had final round, luck in the chamber, and small bore.

When you past level 20 a guy comes around every weekend called xür, I think he sells exotic engrams for 23 motes of light He also sells other exotics for strange coins

4 RepliesUm. They are amazing Used a good 200+ to get the crest of alpha lupi and purifier robes from xur with exotic chest engrams, since its RNG u need crap tons of motes to get the armor u want

Its fun and infuriating at the same time. Especially when I find out I can only roll certain things on a specific weapon after nearly hundreds of motes.

I've sat at 10 or less notes ever since reforging was introduced outside IB. If you have a surplus, that's you not using them enough.

Reroll, buy exotic engrams. I like motes more than strange coins.
