During the Great Schism, Brute and Sangheili Shipmasters realized the threat the Flood posed as they began to pilot various captured dropships off of Delta Halo. Temporarily allied, the Brute and Sangheili fleets glassed the surface of Delta Halo, targeting the Quarantine Zone.
