I see what you are saying.
Soccer you need a team and opponents though.
Video games provide this via an internet connection.
Why watch someone play Destiny, Neverwinter, or Cod, when you can just grab the controller and do it yourself? My one buddy was watching a chick play Texas Holdem' the other day.
Now for the people who are able to watch at work, I do understand that.

The thing is, you're pointing out shītty examples of games to watch. Variety streamers are much funnier, and are interesting to listen to. Like a talk show or tv show.
