I'm not sure if this is old news, but I couldn't find in relation to this online so I thought I'd share it anyway.
This evening I stumbled upon this classic tune from Bungie's "Myth" series which was once titled "The Siege of Madrigal", which then later appeared as an Easter Egg in the "Halo" series under a new title, "Spartan's Regret".
Nice to see the tradition of this tune being carried on.

This makes me almost as happy as when i encountered my first thrall in Destiny. Miss the tfl days
-
Nice to have veterans around to illuminate the legacy.

Dam u str8 babygurl
-
Really cool, I want to see it now
-
I'll admit, I was super disappointed that nobody ever found this in Destiny in the last nine months. Awesome find.
-
Didn't know that, thanks!
I have those same warlock gauntlets, did you know Dead Orbit has a pair with a little higher stats?
-
Yup but I wish they had more halo Easter eggs to be honest.
-
Little random but I was wondering if anyone wants to play halo odst and deja vu challenge. name is Raw Its Bailey
-
I remember this from the party with the brutes and grunts in new alexandria
-
Halo music is so bada*s.
-
That same music is in halo reach. New Alexandria, club errera. If you find a secret button and activate it, go to club errera. There will be a dj brute and dancing grunts
-
wasnt that the song in halo reach in the secret room on one of the campaign maps?
-
I know it's amazing so many memories
-
Is this new? I'm sure I wandered round there once checking out all the stuff on the walls and never saw the press square prompt.
-
Yeah, nearly shed a tear when I heard it.
-
it's new ish. It was added in some update somewhat recently (the one where the purple ball got and update). It can play a lot of songs but that one is the main Easter egg
-
It was still titled The Siege of Madrigal in Halo and on the soundtrack, never heard it called Spartans Regret before.
-
Wow, I never caught that! Well done sir
-
I posted a video on YouTube showing this but no one viewed :(
-
I was wondering where it would pop up.
-
Glad to see some older members still wander around these forums.
-
I've always loved that piece.
-
Yup. It's the Siege.
-

Edited by Eddmario: 6/5/2015 6:09:20 AMThat jukebox also has a chance to play "Hope for the Future", which is the song Paul McCartney did for the game.

Great find! Makes me sad somehow. Reminds me of times when Bungie made games with meaningful story.
