So I'm assuming your asking because your waiting yourself and you've looked around yourself and found all sorts of mixed answers just like me. Well ill tell you what I have found out so far. Once you turn it in to Variks and are on your favorite part called the waiting game try and note the time turning it in. It will not be done sooner than 24hrs and as far as I'm concerned it won't be longer than 72hrs. Maybe 96hrs but I doubt that bro. The quest will be ready on either the 24hr mark 48hr or 72hr mark. I wouldn't listen to those few people that claim they have been waiting since launch or got it within about hour because that's BS. There is nothing you can do to make it faster or shorter that anyone has realized even after multiple attempts. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and ill help out the best I can... Reason I am so sure on this is that 5 people including myself that are friends of mine have all gotten the bounty and the results were as I described and I just got my summon about 10mins ago which was the 72hr mark so I'm confident in this information.
