They aren't exactly rare. They were available for 7+ months. If you don't have pre how weapons , more fool you.
Besides the matador shotgun is the best shotgun In the game. And it's a how drop.

No you don't understand I was so excited for iron banner coming this week I was going to grind for the efrideet spear final round but now, now it's gone forever and I will never get it but then I see other players still have it that is complete bs bungie made a gun with op perks that new players will never get? That's completely unfair

My stats on Matador are the same as Felwinters (specifically the range), and I have shot pkg and LitC, but it seems a Felwinters can still outgun me from a further distance. In other words seems I die and they have the slightest health left. Might just be me. And I'm [b]Not complaining[/b]. (Want to stress that so I don't get a huge argument started) Just thinking Felwinters has that little special something because it was "earned" in the iron banner, rather than randomly dropped in regular crucible. Sorry to get off topic.

I think the felwinters still has a little more impact that lets it kill for a little further. But I think the matador has all round better stats.
