Do you think ONI has any involvement with Andrew Del Rio being elected as a Senator?

No. It wouldn't make sense if they did since ONI is interested in building up the Chief, not tearing him down.

I thought ONI is the ones trying to get rid of master chief. Like in hunt the truth they twisted the story of the shoot out to where master chief killed everyone.

The original point of hunt the truth was to build up the chief as a great hero. Giving gero or whatever his name is false sources to write a story on. He found outside sources and that eventually let gero grow skeptical and start to search for the truth. And as for shooting the peace assembly, I'm guessing Oni decided to cover themselves up instead of the chief.
