So I would like to start getting into a weekly routine for going to the gym. I'm trying to lose a little fat and gain a little muscle, but not too much. I just want to know, what is some good advice for someone who has never really used a gym before?

Cardio is great for dropping weight weight training is great too. Find a buddy who goes to the gym and make sure they are supportive of what you are trying to do. Or spend a little extra and get a trainer at the gym.
