It was a joke to your metaphor. In all seriousness, this is unfair to new players. And everyone here is overreacting like a little girl.

What if there was a war. One side gets to the battleground early, and gets the high ground. The other side gets there, proclaims that "this is unfair to the new side" and makes the other side give up the high ground. [b]its actually unfair for the people that got there first, as they have to give away the thing they worked to get.[/b]

Decent analogy, except that wars and real life situations are based on valuable and limited resources. Video games do not represent this aspect.
