I think it would be nice to have a consumable we could use to add elements to guns. They could be permanent or temporary. If permanent then they should be decently rare dropping from end game activities. If temporary they should be less rare, but not too common. I think Xur could have a chance not 100% to sell them at like 25 coins maybe even limiting it to one per account per Xur visit.
