Hey all, just joined the group. Figured I'd share some Destiny themed poems that I've written over the past month. Please feel free to post some of your own too.

Dead Orbit: From the Prophecies of Arach Jalaal
The City is dead.
But yet a means to a beginning.
The others squander,
With attempts at resurrection,
Or petty secrets.
But we are Astro-Mercenaries.
We see a purpose in the Death.
A light in the Darkness.
We deny Ourselves passage
On the back of a decrepit God;
Cowering in the remnants of its dying light.
We take hold of Our own destiny.
Rather than reliving the glories
Of days of future passed,
We tear down these monuments to our sins
And turn their “Golden” artifacts
Into the cosmic fleet of a new Orbit.
A Dead Orbit.
Ode to Felwinter
What is a lie?
But an incorrigible attempt at the truth.
Or is it a malicious prophecy?
Meant to harm all in its wake.
Well, I’ve told the Lie,
But I’ve also felt the wrath of its truth;
Spewing forth from its malevolent void.
And this…
And this I know for sure:
The truth of the Lie
Tis a Demon.
New Monarchy: A Testimony
As a child I remember reading one day
The ancient poem: “Nothing Gold Can Stay”
And I reminisce of those history pages;
In the glories of our Golden Ages.
Well that was then, and this now,
Or so the Cryptarchs preach.
Their knowledge like a sacred cow
Revered, yet out of reach.
But there is a voice
Of genuine passion, that beckons to us all.
Bestowing Guardians a new choice
An answer to their call:
Together the City will unite
Both Guardians young and old
To salvage, support, and to fight
Our tenets; true and bold.
So cast out the fear and the doubt
Caused by the Dark anarchy
And put your faith in the Light redoubt
Formed by New Monarchy.
Corrective Measure
For the heinous faults that plague us all,
There is but one redemption.
It’s found beneath the hallowed halls
Of Time’s lost dimensions.
A keeper of sorts holds the key
To this a lethal treasure.
For Death has but many names,
This one’s Corrective Measure
