just asking him if ever use any weapon other than Thorn and Matador (uses it as primary btw), and I get perm banned. lol
Also, called out ProfessorBroman for saying he would punch someone in the face at a meet and greet if they said something rude to his friend. Then proceeded to say, that he would instead pay a person to beat someone up because he's getting that "Twtich money".
Why are these streamers so damn sensitive and defensive. If that's how you play, just own up to it and not be ashamed. I was legitimately curious to see how he would play with something other than those weapons.
I think the exposure that Goth and Broman is getting from the Destiny community is starting to go to their heads.
And these are the guys Bungie supports and represent this game in the community? Desperate measure I guess for desperate times.
edit: I'm posting here to talk/post in a concise and honest way on my thoughts about this Streamer that Bungie clearly promotes and supports. Some of the stuff they (Goth and Broman) say and how they handle anyone calling them out on their wrong doing should be pointed out, that's all. They shouldn't get a free pass to be dickish just because they are on Twitch and get supported by a developer.
edit#2: Please list some other Destiny streamers that some of you think is worth checking out and viewing.
edit#3: For the record, I NEVER subbed to either of them... I will not give money to a smug pretentious manchild.
edit#4: I've been told that since my thread... that these guys have cleaned up their antics a bit. So it seems, they do care about what people think! In any case, I'm glad to know they are now learning how NOT to be such Dbags towards non sub viewers.

You watch twitch streams? I'm sorry.
-
I agree with you completely broman is a complete tool and honestly it brings bungie down for backing him but hey others will make fun off you and talk mad shit because you stated your personal opinion on the forum forget them man keep doing what you do
-
Im pretty sure you wouldn't want to deal with every negative person interrupting your livelihood, unless your paid to of course
-
Ticht?? twitch?? wich?? Idk, but i want sammich???

Edited by Willa: 6/5/2015 3:00:29 AMJust gonna leave this here. While this video is about DSP, the first 1 minute and 30 seconds apply to any big streamers or youtubers.
-
Seems you made your mistake in the ... Watching people play video games Phase of the life.

Edited by NOLIMITSOLJA: 6/5/2015 1:29:06 AMHow much money do those guys make??? If I start a twitch will any of you watch me? I suck at crucible but might be fun to watch me die

Edited by Al-B-Querky: 6/5/2015 2:55:49 AMI'm not fan of either, but I think people just need to mind their own business. Everyone, you, Goth, Broman, are entitled to your own opinion and way of thinking. Just because people like Goth and Broman are people in the spotlight of the community, it by no means say that they represent us as a whole. Additionally, it also doesn't mean that they should act like "proper" people; they are who they are and people will/have like/liked them for being them. Otherwise, people who don't like them don't need to watch or support them. Bungie doesn't support streamers like Goth or Broman, they support themselves.

You got banned from gothalions stream? What messed up shit did you really say in his chat? The last time I saw someone get bant was when they threatened his fams as a joke.
-
Can't really blame him. The amount of "curious" people compared to the amount of total dicks on twitch is very very very small.
-
Why do people donate money to people to sit around and play video games?
-
Not sayin you're lyin my dude, but only time I've seen goth ban is for disrespect to his wife or kids. Broman has that kind of sense of humor, he's reckless like that. It sounds like you were the casualty of a good laugh for his pleasure, and that definitely sucks. But its HIS twitch channel, revolt if you feel necessary but good luck swayin a half million people between the 2 of them in followers
-
I will say that your ban was an overreaction. But I don't believe for a second that you were "just askin" lol
-
Dont stress over high school kids. Most live at home and have income of less that $100k a year. Kids under 30 years of age always threaten with violence here in the US. Send them to war with the US military and they piss there pants and run like rabbits. Trust me, we see the kind all the time. Bet neither of these clowns has shot a gun or has earned any medal pertaining to firearms with a Police Force or US Military. Until they do they are just flies on a horses ass.
-
They are both idiots IMO.. Goth isn't too bad but broman is the biggest loser Ive ever seen on twitch.. Talk about catering to the mindless and idiotic.. Lol.. And he's gonna punch someone!? Haha.. That's rich.. Triplewreck is alright from what I've seen.. Seems pretty laid back and acts like a normal adult..
-
I don't know why anyone even watches either of them. They're both awful players with shitty attitudes.
-
I watched a ShesMyNerd stream to see who the hell he was and got attacked for asking why it sounded like he used a keyboard and mouse! They started threatening bans and bitching me out so I left. Guys like that don't deserve the popularity.
-
Goth literally said in a recent video that he's proud of being a Thorn user, maybe just don't be a smart-arse in someone else's stream?
-
I completely understand where you're coming from. I was actually watching Twitch that day (yesterday? Jeez I thought that was earlier today)... And I thought ProBro was unusually terse/defensive/and combative. Then he stated "We ban 50% more people on Wednesday than all the other days combined." So apparently people are dicks on Wednesday. Hence his attitude, because he was taking no shit from no body. This is also the same man who received no less than 100 death threats in the first hour after his Bungie PoE reveal Twitch live stream. So: was he defensive? I think so. Was he being a dick? I'm not so sure. Yes he was being very straight forward and he was not taking any sort of criticism well, but he also has dealt with a lot of community pressure. He has his own community that follow him, support him, and love him very much. They showed immense support for him during this stream when people were calling him out for being an asshole on stream. So moral of the story: is ProBro a dick? That is subjective and not answerable in a blanket statement. I don't think so, but I do think he's put up with a lot. Was he right to ban you? Again, another subjective answer, however it's his stream and he and his moderators can do whatever they want, within the rules and policies of twitch. Should Bungie use Twitch streamers and YouTubers as community role models and leaders? Absolutely yes. I agree they need to be vetted and researched, using a streamer as a role model is no light task. But that's where the community is. That's where people who love this game are. Not everyone loves ProBro. Not everyone loves King. Not everyone loves Mr. Fruit (though I can't imagine why...) Sorry for WoT. Please feel free to respond with tl;Dr.

I've heard a lot of similar stories they ban whoever they don't agree with regardless of what was said. It could be a nasty vulgar statement or a simple question posed to the streamer out of curiosity they approach it the same way and just swing the ban hammer. They have very like minded ban happy mods as well it creates a very restricted environment in which very few ppl can disagree with the streamer. It's a falsified positive environment. I know of some other streamers who do similar things on the pvp side of the game and it's just a lot of ppl kissing the streamers a$$ instead of having real conversation about the game.
-
If anything, they should be held to a much higher standard because Bungie is officially associating themselves with such players. They are effectively paying them to advertise the game, and as such, what Twitch streamers do reflects on both Destiny and Bungie, and Bungie and Activision should take these allegations seriously.
-
If you're gonna be an asshole on their own stream you can expect to be called out on it and banned. It's just how they run their channels and there's really nothing you or anyone can do about it. Also I believe you're taking words waaay out of context.
-
If MorninAfterKill was a Streamer he would be good. He eats hate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
-
Who cares? Don't watch the retards play, problem solved.
