Grow up.
If CoD goes away, there's nothing out there that can replace it right now. You could make the case for Titanfall, but no. No. And Medal of Honor is KIA.

*ahem* Battlefront.

You mean Star Wars: Battlefield 5? There was a list of 7 things that SWBF fans did NOT want in a new Battlefront game, posted before the cinematic trailer came out. Guess what? Practically every single one of them is something that plagues the new 'battlefront' - a battlefront game which even lacks instant action. That's not to mention the fact that Battlefront is not equal to CoD at all - the only resemblance they have is that both can be played FPS.

Why does it have to be like cod? And might I remind you Battlefront has not yet been released?

Edited by ClusiveC: 6/5/2015 1:38:46 AMYou can't replace a linebacker with a quarterback. You can't replace the only CoD-like game with a Battlefield-like game. Also, might I remind you the terrible flak DICE has been receiving after they started releasing info on the new Battlefront? To the point where some of their developers had to go onto (i think it was) Twitter and outright defend their decisions? You're looking at a Battlefront game with half the heroes/villains that the first one had - not to mention the fact that the game doesn't even have a heroes' vs villains mode in it. On top of lacking space battles. That alone makes it an overall worse experience than Battlefront 2. I would rather have a remastered SWBF2 than battlefield 3. But this discussion is about CoD. Name three games that can fill the void that CoD leaves behind. There's a reason why it sales so much every single year - there are people who enjoy that type of gritty, arena ADS style gameplay. Just like there are people who enjoy open-field, massive battle games like RO2/Rising Storm and even Planetside 2

If cod died the void doesn't need to be filled. The actual gamers will find other games to play or developers will finally make fps games since cod wouldn't control the market and the cod fanboys will go play gta or something and scream in that game chat. But hey, you're takin this a little too personally. Theres no way cod will ever die unless activision releases its devs from slavery or people stop playing. But as you said yourself, people actually like cod. (for whatever reason)
