PETITION: BAN PRE HoW Legendaries From Crucible
This is pretty messed up. People should not have snipers with final round while others cannot obtain a gun with that perk.
Once more, how is it fair for players to use felwinter's with hammer forged while others need to rely on reinforced barrel?
Removing field scout is a big slap in the face for a majority of players. There's also a glitch to switch this perk with another before using a special ammo crate so you can get more ammo.
Furthermore, pre-HoW IB guns can be re-rolled for their previous perk rolls, while current IB guns cannot receive the same benefits. [b][i][u]THATS MESSED UP!![/u][/i][/b]
edit* - This does not have to apply to raid weapons, since they are obtainable and remain unaltered.
edit 2* - why are all of you butt hurt? over a few crucible weapons I'm receiving threats? Smh
edit 3* - It seems like without your weapons, you're all just defenseless. What a shame.
edit 4* - hurry guys lets have this happen before the next ToO.
edit 5* - Guys, this is only for crucible. If a special snowflake 'earned' his gun, then he's entitled to use it for PvE or let it sit in the vault like a collection should be - unused.

2 RepliesAt first I was like "You -blam!-ing what". But then I realized it was about Pre-HoW IB gear having substantially better perks available to them. Either: A) Shut your mouth you little girl. You just want to make your felwinters the more OP than it is already. Some shotguns [i]wish[/i] they had as much range with all range boosting upgrades on as the felwinters does by default. B) Don't suggest such impossibly dumb ideas like this. Suggest that Bungie change out perks that were removed in HoW and replace them with as similar a perk as possible. AKA rebalance them in a fair and justified way, not ban them outright because you're butthurt that others have a better perk than you. These perks were in the game for a reason, and they were removed for a reason. A majority of Pre-HoW gear(shotguns so you understand) had garbage range. Literally point blank melee range, and wouldn't even kill at that. Which is why shotgun-melee spam was prevalent. HoW unleashed a wave of shotguns that had better range by default than most did Pre-HoW with hammer forged. For instance my "Secret Handshake" with hammer forged has less range(or the same, might be one pixel less cant tell) than a Matador64 I just got. It still has access to smallbore which further boosts it and rangefinder. See where I'm going with this? At the most they should replace the Felwinters Hammer-Forged with Smallbore(or similar).

You lost out. Think of it like a "limited time offer". And before you say anything I don't even have any snipers with final round anymore because it wasn't a perk I liked.

AT A GAME!! Now, I think that many games have a problem with these kinds of people, but here on the forums it is just very, very apparent. Seriously, if you read the forums sometimes you might as well lose faith in humanity.

benefits of playing early. what choice did they have with final round? yes it's a bit unfair but so is lag and so is the thorn and so are hobgoblins with solar burn. just how it is. fewer final round snipers will be around in a few months as fewer and fewer older players are left. people leave destiny daily and new players join. bungie is aware of this

It's possible to get a shotgun now with better range than any Felwinter's. Besides, I don't think it's fair to penalize people who happened to get/worked hard to get those weapons before HoW dropped. People that don't have them can find an equivalent - they're out there. Chill.

5 RepliesOnly point I agree with is pre HOW guns being rerolled with old perk pool. If you wish to reforge, then you should accept the fact that you must work with the new perk pool. Personally speaking, IB weapons from pre HOW should not be re-forgeable now anyways.

Mix sugar and butter in large bowl. Stir in eggs until well blended. Add bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt just until moistened. Stir in nuts. Pour into pans. 3. Bake 8-inch loaves about 1 hour, 9-inch loaf about 1 1/4 hours, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen sides of loaves from pans; remove from pans and place top side up on wire rack. Cool completely, about 2 hours, before slicing. Wrap tightly and store at room temperature up to 4 days, or refrigerate up to 10 days. I personally think walnuts are best with them.

No. Just no. You are what's wrong with this game. Fyi, I've been in since Alpha. Never got felwinters lie, or a sniper with final round. Am I complaining, no. Your argument about "oh you can still use in pve" is trash. When Destiny was being developed, Bungies goal was that you could take your PvE weapons and go into PvP because you were comfortable with your style of play. You can't get it any more or inaccessible. Boo hoo. Ill shard **mote** out my Supremacy because you can't get it unless you did Queens Wrath in like week 2. How about I do the same to my Grim citizen, shadow price, and vanquisher and replace it with those inaccurate unstable peashooter autos they now have. That's one of the things about an evolving game. Gear changes. People complain about everyone looking the same, or having the same stuff. Now that we finally have some diversity and some, I dare say, OG gear you want it to collect dust in the vault. No, just no. I'm usually not this agressive in my posts. But dear God... git gud. And before the OP tries to flame me with a csrefully picked counter argument; I'll be busy playing crucible because I know how to counter Final Rounds and overpowered range on shotguns because I actually play the game and learn to counter. Side note. Shotguns have range in real life, which is what makes them quick work of anything that gets to close to them. Lets tell our SWAT teams to stop using them cus they're op.

2 RepliesUnobtainable? Everyone has had access to iron banner and an opportunity to get the weapons before HoW and re-roll them after HoW. I bought my spear the last iron banner of TDB then re-rolled for final round and spray and pray.
