1 ReplyI forget some of the lore details; when the ancient humans were fighting on two fronts against the Forerunners and the Flood, did the humans actually have a way to beat/cure the Flood, or did the Flood just leave them be? I remember the Librarian was able to save humans because they supposedly had a cure. Also, if the Flood just chose to retreat and leave the humans be, do we know the reason?

3 RepliesThe epilogue of Halo 3:ODST (Johnson talking to/about the Engineer "Virgil") takes place one month after the events of the game. Shouldn't he have been killed in the fight with 343 Guilty Spark by that time? Am I mistaken about the amount of time that transpired between Halo 2 and 3 or was this a massive oversight by Bungie?
