The grind is about to be very real for alot of us just to be able to upgrade our weapons..
Re-rolling is fun and addictive and a great addition to Destiny, but with it comes the realization we need some type of exchange of materials that will allow us to obtain more weapon parts.
Farming Ether Chests was a great way to replenish blue engrams for weapon parts, but now that the Ether Chest farming is over, it will be even harder to make up the difference. Strikes give alot, but if we could simply buy them for glimmer/motes/strange coins or exchange Hadrionic essence/Plasteel Plating or Hunter Wire for weapon parts, that would be an ideal way to deal with this new famine.

ALSO: If you happen to have a lot of Weapon parts, dont bother listing that you have a bunch or listing how many thousands you have. Dont be that guy. This thread is for people who identify with the current system draining weapon parts faster than ever before.
We all know no one is forcing us to reroll our weapons. But you know what? It actually makes Destiny partly fun again, so of course people want to do it to get perfect/ideal rolls. So if you dont have anything constructive to the conversation, dont bother posting.

Ugh I ran out a long time ago. Glimmer runs out fast too.

Signed so hard

How about we all stop being lazy and do some farming like we use to? Instead of having everything handed to us
-
Was lucky with my rolls and verry active since beginning so still loads of them
-
For anyone that's been around since the early days this is not problem. I have thousands. lol
-
How tf can you be out of weapon parts? I have about 4500 saving up since day 1.
-
Over 1500 hours and I have 17 weapon parts left.
-
They need to sell weapon parts for marks, not glimmer since we also need that in spades now
-
I have 1400 and something....don't think that will run out anytime soon
-
Bungie definitely needs to give us the option to buy weapons parts. Maybe 5 weapons parts for 1500 glimmer or something like that.
-
I wish we could buy them. I have 30 pieces to my name
-
I've been so obssessed with re-rolling lately. I'm now officially broke on everything except Spinmetal and Special Synth (Thanks to Skywatch). I literally have 3 of the hundreds of Weapon Parts I used to own.
-
As of last night: I have 1. A single weapon part. Ash Factory, Ill Will, and about 5 others will now go without until I find the motivation to grind something.
-
I am down to 55 after having over a thousand at one point...
-
Almost zero. I have also noticed blue weapon engrams seem to drop at a smaller rate since the last update. Bungie is wanting us to grind.
-
I had 1,000+ weapon parts when HOW dropped. Ascending every exotic, and re rolling everything to perfection has broken me. Emotionally and financially. Before HOW I was a rich man material wise. I am now converting ascendant materials to glimmer... so I can buy green weapons from the gunsmith and break them down for parts. Hello my name is raider1987 and I am a reforgaholic.
-
That's what happens when you think you can have everything in this game with like 80 hours play time. Sucks to suck, man.
-
I have about 35. My inventory is always full, so I can't pick up green ones.
-
I have a total of like 200 weapon parts left. So sucky
-
I only reroll a couple things and still have like 2000
-
Yes! For god sake I've had this problem since September!!!! Can we please buy weapon parts!! I have so many exotics that I can't upgrade and legendary weapons that I can't. RNG hates me as 9/10 engrams I pick up are armour. I average ONE weapon upgrade every couple of weeks. Not a complete weapon upgrade, ONE damage upgrade. This is by far the biggest grind for me, I have to think far too much into what weapon I want to upgrade next it's beyond a bore.
-
I have like 40 left
-
Had over 2000.. Now only have about 200..
