I'm sorry man, I read the whole thing and I frequent the boards and I haven't seen any posts being taken down... These issues are really not that dramatic. I mean Jesus man, there are people starving in the world and you are acting ridiculous about a game's core concepts outlined by the company that created it. I hate to be that guy... But maybe Destiny is simply not the game for you, and that's ok. If I felt a fraction of hurt and betrayal the you have expressed here, I would never support said game or developer. Wake up man, it's just a game. Enjoy the massive amounts of hours you are putting into it.

I'll cut to the chase. It is un-American to not have matchmaking. we need OPTIONAL matchmaking in every thing. So in my opinion this is the difference between having a in game matchmaking and what we use today outside of the game for group matching. Today's way of endgame matchmaking. 1-Pick up phone 2-find lfg app that's wasting space on my phone 3- find a group that doesn't require the freaking gjallarhorn because I dont have one 4- once you find the group go into the message friend option on the console 5- try to spell the extremely long and ridiculous name of the person in charge of the group. 6- wait for response 7-get no response 8- repeat steps 1 through 6 9- finally get response 10- get Into group 11- halfway through RANDOM group people go afk or group fails. 12- repeat steps 1 through 11 The way it should be...... 1- start game 2- push matchmaking button 3-play game 4-have fun The elite payers can still have their premade games, people can still solo and the none elites can have matchmaking we all win!!!! All I ask is for the option.
-
Again I say, I don't take issue with optional matchmaking. It's the idea that it's the only way to look at the situation and the fanatical accusation that it's un-American. In my humble opinion, this kind of extreme language hurts the credibility of your argument. Also, your so-called proof describes an experience that I have not had playing the game yet.

You are un1American I dont even know why you are aloud to post on My forum

Did you watch the video?

Find this post on Highest Rated. Oh wait, you can't. Won't find the one with over 300 likes either. You will only have to scroll for a minute to find one from me about ether chests with like 7 likes that was posted the 17 or so. Let me ask you a question. Why are you here on the feedback forums bitching about feedback when there are people starving in this world. Shouldn't you be at a soup kitchen and not gabbing online?
thank you for the bump
Nicely done. ;)

Edited by Synge_X: 6/3/2015 12:54:16 AMI'm not bitching, I'm sharing my opinion. I don't care if I don't get top rated posts, as an appeal to the masses doesn't make a better argument. I know it's tough to break whole dogmatic "true believer" thing, but just so you know, I don't disagree with the idea of matchmaking, I just don't want the resources going to that endeavor until bigger issues are fixed, given that it's easy to make friends and is actually very enjoyable. Dude, even though you disagree with me or whatever, at least I gave you thoughtful responses.

I would argue - and many, many more would agree - that this is the biggest issue.
-
I would argue there aren't many "bigger" issues if a huge portion of the game is Inavale l inaccessible to many players...

How is it that I can access the content? I work a full-time job, own a home that I have to maintain, I have a family, and I play in a local band that takes up a considerable amount of my time as well. Even with all that going on I am able to play Destiny with both my real life friends, and Friends that I have made online(which make up the majority of people that I play with). From my perspective, MM would absolutely not be the biggest issue. I have reached level 34 with all of my characters, defeated Skolas on level 35, and I have even reached the Light House all within 15 minutes of logging in, which includes inventory management and grabbing bounties and such. But most of you seem content to argue and fight over a gameplay element that is a Bungie has already stated is not a part of their gameplay design, rather than connecting with other people and helping them with content.
-
Are you claiming to have completed the level 35 PoE, and then go 9-0 in trials, within a time span of 15 minutes?
-
Yes, I'm a time traveler.
-
"If I CAN DO IT, everyone who can't can do it too!" Stop using your Life as a standard. Your argument is potatoes.
-
If you can't see by now that you're in the minority with that situation, then there's not much more to discuss. Most of us with full-time jobs and families don't always have the opportunity to find groups via LFG. We shouldn't have to do Bungie's job for them. There aren't even in-game group finding tools.
-
Don't rely on LFG. If you play with someone in a strike or in a round of crucible that you think is a good player, reach out to them. Get to know them and help them tackle a Quest or two, see if they are the type of person that you like to hang out with. If so simply making a point while you are doing bounties or taken care of inventory at the reef or tower, send them a chat invite and just ask them how their day is going. I have this kind of relationship with over 15 people because I make the effort to do so. I feel as though people are more than a means to an end in Destiny, there are real people behind those guardians.
-
There are real people there, but between 50 hours a week at work, chores at home, four animals, my father-in-law's leg amputation, and dealing with taxes, I don't have a ton of extra energy or desire to do anything but shoot aliens in their stupid alien faces.

Dude, didnt you hear him? He Has a family and PLAYS IN A BAND. Find Time scrub.
