Do Not Bring Back Autorifles - Here is Why
Many keep asking for Auto rifle buff. But if you recall the reason why they nerfed the Autos in the first place. Everyone and their grandma were destroying people with Suros Regime. Me among them. And that weapon did not take any skill to actually use. Now with the reduction in damge, we are able to use different types of weaponry. Including Scout rifles, hand cannons, pulse rifles. So your choices are either Auto rifles for everybody, or the way it is now.
Your memories are very short guys. I just felt like I needed to remind you.
If anything only do a slight buff in PVE, but don't touch it in PVP. Auto rifles ruined the Crucible, and that is why they were nerfed in the first place. So please think of what you are asking for before you say something.

2 RepliesThing is, the problem with Suros was its effective range was far too long. I believe that if you kept the current range values and reverted them to pre patch damage, they'd be manageable. It would also cease some of the endless nerf shotgun and whatever else threads somewhat, as Autorifles made short work of shotgunners.
