Should the Lighthouse stay on your director after weekly reset?
Okay so this is a really small complaint but I kinda wish if you earned the lighthouse it would stick around on your director for good BUT you would need another 9-0 in order to get drops from the chest again. Just an idea I had while playing around in the lighthouse with friends and thought how cool it is having mercury on the director. Anyone else agree? (And please don't tell me to git gud and do it every week because I have gotten to the lighthouse with 2 characters both weeks and have primaries to prove it this is just a thing I think would be fun)

Its a map with a chest. You could remove it entirely and reward players via a pop-up. Not much changes... Oh wait, a shit load of bitching would stop, or at least would be redirected to something else.

1 ReplyThis is what I thought at first. Last Tuesday I was pretty depressed... but then I realized that I don't have to grind flawless on my other 2 characters just to get the Mercury social space so in the end I'M OK with this.

I haven't gone yet, but I will one day and agree to this! I've seen the videos; Bungie made a beautiful social space here, so no harm at all in allowing us to consistently visit it once the first passage is earned. I can't imagine it would be difficult to lock rewards to once per 9-0 per week, but I'm no programmer so can't say that with certainty...

I have no problem with it being unlocked every week. There is no reason to go there besides getting your loot anyway.
