PoE 35lvl Rewards are not woth the effort, yes?
[b]Why the reward system (rewards overall) and the whole encounter are really bad:[/b]
- VoG's raid weapons are BETTER (more interesting perks + 1 extra perk just for VoG encounter),
- Crota's raid weapons are WAY BETTER (more interesting perks + 1 extra perk just for Crota encounter).
- [b]Shank burn on Arc PoE Sniper rifle? REALLY? [/b]Have you even heard people saying " Oh, damn I just want to play Skolas to get this [place the name here] PoE weapon, it is amazing!!!!" When we played Crota and VoG, people wanted these amazing weapons.
- [b]You get weapons and armor pieces on almost all checkpoints (Vog, Crota),[/b] it is worth the effort. You don't even have to play the final boss to get rewards, if you don't want to.
- [b]Chests can give you exotics and you don't need a key to open the chest in raids[/b], (LOL :)) Queen's Weapons from the Level 35 Chest? No, thanks.
-[b] There are NOT checkpoints[/b], so you have to finish the whole thing one day. You can't come back later and you can't AFK/wait to do normal life stuff because you will be kicked.
- [b]The drop rate in PoE (of exotic bounty & PoE weapons) is really, really, really low.[/b] I have never see any drop of PoE weapons or new Fallen Exotic Bounty yet...
- [b]You can get Exotic Bounties on Level 34 activity. [/b]There is no point to play Skolas, if you can get fallen exotics on a more interesting level 34 activity without fake difficulty.

Why don't a bungie employee read this!! I don't get it!! This is so logical. Even if they miss it the first time ( may be cause they are too close to the game) they gotta learn and send the patch super fast!! This PoE is for hardcore players only!! My wife doesn't want me to play this anymore ( I agree with her) cause once I start PoE, it may be few hours before I am available to her or I have to give up all the progress I made. This is so stupid and Bungie should do something about this!

Bump! Bump! Bump! Exactly, took the words right out of my head. This is why I don't really play much anymore. I'm not a big pvp guy, and pve has gone to sh*t. I'll help friends, because I enjoy destiny for that. But man, this dlc killed the game for me. About a week before launch, everyone was so excited, and I thought 'uh, oh. They are really selling the hell out of this. Doesn't that usually mean this is prob going to suck?' And by the end of the first weekend I felt sick and exhausted of the lame gear, frustrating system in place, and irritated this game suddenly became focused on pvp. This last week, if I didn't want to play pvp, I usually ended up on my own. So I found myself just turning destiny off, and finally I'm in the phase of not turning it on.

I agree that the rewards from level 35 PoE are severely lacking compared to not only past raids, but Trials of Osiris. The potential elemental primaries are far worse than those from Trials or the raids. Taking an entire perk slot for something like Dreg Burn or Shank Burn instead of placing it under another generally useful perk as the raid guns did is a dumb decision. The potential primary drops from 35 are not very good and the chest only drops regular queen weapons. Elemental versions of the Queen primaries would make the 35 chest and keys both very desirable. Trials is a far better use of your time with better rewards that are guaranteed to some extent. My solar Summoner wasn't a great pull, but I know I could get a Void Scholar or Messenger on another character or next week that is much better than any void gun from the PoE bunch. And you get much more Etheric light for comparable time played by getting to Mercury than beating Skolas. Bungie should absolutely balance the 35 PoE rewards and make keys something you want and are worth the grind if you don't have a new exotic bounty that demands one or more.

1 ReplyThey need to fix the rewards ASAP theirs no if ands or buts my friends and i have been diehard destiny fans and never stopped playing since the game was out even when we had all the weapons and gear. Now were just getting screwed everyone is loosing the drive to play theres no point when you spend hours doing all the PoE levels only receiving motes of light and strange coin if you dont have a key or at best the queens shitty auto rifle with kinetic damage.

1 ReplyPoE=Not worth the effort when i haven't seen anyone with a single gun that can replace the pre-dlc weapons we already have. Trials weapons, I've heard that some of those are comparable. On 34 PoE, we ripped through all the stages up to the vex boss and then I'm not ashamed to say we spent literally 5 hours and only managed to get him down to around 35-40% health. Granted we had 2 lvl 33 and myself at 34, and only my one fully leveled gally but the difficulty spike was completely bullshit altogether and we all wasted our time. And for what? Drops that we're just gonna be annoyed to get? Drops that are generally almost useless to us? And Trials is terribly unbalanced it's just an atrocious turn off running into 3 warlocks. Basically gives them an unfair advantage because they get an extra 3 lives as a party and nobody else has that luxury. It's not a fair and square, balanced game mode if some people get a literal "do over" while when other players die, their turn is done. Basically the entire dlc is another example of something to do but a bunch of glaring fck ups that only make Bungie look incompetent and inadequate.

Outside of the exotic bounties everything from PoE is kinda trash. You get way more etheric light out of trials for 1/10 of the work and you can kinda just run the 34 for the bounty drop. I'v not seen a single armor drop out of that random ball so the odds you get fallen gear, the only truly useful stuff, is close to nonexistent or straight up nonexistent.

1 ReplyPoE rewards are garbage compared to trails an it's something they need to address quickly as it's just not worth spending hours an hours to compete a 35 to get 1 light an a weapon an armour core plus a very low chance at an exotic bounty which by what I've watched an read are hardly worth getting to begin with.
