I didn't think I was making any real assumptions about possibilities. Sorry if I came off that way. I also understand why people want matchmaking . it can make life easier. I fought the idea of no matchmaking until I realized the game offered and fostered a more useful and purpose driven outlet than the almost archaic services from previous bungie games. My biggest concern though is that adding optional matchmaking to the raids would not only drive focus away from the forums and their utility, but allow for less engaging group experiences. Less people on lfg's means less legit raid crews and more reason to just throw it into matchmaking. in the past it has been a bottleneck for abuse and misuse, while server browsing and actual communication offer a better alternative to team building.

  • Your major point is still the main reason matchmaking is the better option. This post, however was a lot more clear on what you're trying to say. Still and all, current method has only allowed 1 out of 5 people to get through ONE raid. Ever. 1 in 5. If you're going to try and defend that, no matter the rationale, there is no further point speaking on it with you.

  • I've been clear throughout all my posts, and the only difference in the last one was that I apologized because you implied I was making assumptions. My point is still the same and doesn't counteract my argument. I still am sorry if your perception of my words is wonky. I'll try again. 1 out of 5 people playing endgame content was foreseen by the developers, and I don't think having the inability to access a free app on a smart phone is good enough reason for statistics like that (which comes from where? I have no clue) to exist, and concurrently to blame the system, or the folks who run it, would be irrational based on the idea that a majority of people who buy their games will some day beat it. They won't, and so instead of degrading the content so more can access it, the devs chose to preserve and refine it. Makes sense to me.

  • 20% endgame participation was the idea?! Read the entire op, you absolute moron. I'm glad you're posting this meritless invalid crap in a thread that nobody isn't actively commenting in can see anymore. And don't tell me you did. Hell even without that, I seem to recall hearing about how this expansion was going to be all about removing barriers and....you know what? Nevermind. You either can't or won't understand whats being said. I both pity, and mute you now. You simply aren't worth the effort of more more keystrokes.
