Lol I usually just smash them from an angle they don't spit at you from, and always have moss handy just incase, use a halberd or long ranged weapon to hit more than one at a time, and enjoy this little tip from someone on NG7

You can use your binoculars and souls arrows. That is a pretty quick way of dealing with them.

He can only use destructive arrows to break them so that's a lot of arrows to take them out

yeah, Iron arrows. I usually stock up on them they're fairly cheap.

No poison!!!! Iron takes way longer and chance to get hit . 2 poison arrows and one dies. Can also launch 2 and still escape their arrow
