Like a friend said previously in this thread:
If I spend my whole life pursuing God and find out none of it was true when I die, then I wasted my life. But I did so pursuing love and a perfect heaven while being happy.
If you spend you whole life disregarding the bible and Jesus as fiction and myth and die to find out it was all true, then you wasted the rest of your eternity.

But you will also have affected your life's decisions negatively - for example, if it turns out god isn't real then you've spent your life wrongly thinking being gay is wrong. You will have negatively impacted their lives by making it known that you think their love might be an abomination. Imagine what that feels like for them, and think for a moment that you have no proof that it's true.

But then it's all just a gamble.
-
A gamble that I feel like every odd in in my favor. A gamble in which I put forth all my chips with complete confidence.

Well then that is where the path diverges and we disagree, I wish you luck on your gamble and I hope for mine.

If your gamble pays off, what happens?

That's the beauty of it: something or nothing. It I cease to exist like how it was before I was even a sperm cell than so be it.
