By the time your knee makes contact with that Bladedancer, his blade will already be in your gut.
Just as your knee approaches that Sunsinger, their palm will be ready to meet you with a Helios-level high five.
Armor of Light won't protect a Defender from your knee, and your knee surely won't protect you from his shotgun.
Good luck getting use out of these grieves against Voidwalkers and Strikers who happen to be casting their Supers; you would have to catch them at just the right moment to make this meager Exotic worth your while.
Bungie has made yet another terrible Titan Exotic, what a surprise.

But do you have them? If you don't or haven't used them I don't think you can talk trash about these outstanding exotics.
-
Shoulder Charge is already a mediocre ability to start with; it is useless in PvE and is suicidal in PvP. The Peregrine Greaves provide a very circumstantial boost to a very limited ability. I don't need to own them to see how terrible they are as an Exotic.
-
Man what's mediocre about a one hit kill that launches you 4m forward? Plus if you run with transfusion (like any good striker should) it will heal you. And using said ability can easily save your life in pve. If you're sprinting away from danger, you can pop a shoulder charge on a dreg or a shank or some other weak enemy to regain health and probably save you from death.

In a PvP with shotguns around every corner, and a motion sensor that ruins any element of surprise you may have, Shoulder Charge is nothing more than a gimmick. In PvE it is a suicidal tactic; even if you Shoulder Charge a Dreg and heal yourself, there will be more minions to bring your health back down. I've never seen anyone use Shoulder Charge in Vault of Glass, or Crota's End, and certainly not in Prison of Elders. It is at best a mediocre ability.

Edited by MisterNoop: 6/14/2015 7:19:21 AMPlay it smart. Avoid the shotguns. Use it from behind, from above, from the side. Those minions? Well if they were going to kill you no matter what then by killing that dreg you delayed your death so that's a +1 in my book. Also if the shotgun doesn't kill you you'll get your health back anyways from the transfusion. Plus shoulder charge is amazing for mobility, great for getting you through the abyss or across the arena in prison of elders. It can work wonders in PvP. Seriously, what's not to love about a one hit kill with no cooldown?

Attack from the side? Isn't there something in this game, in the top left corner of everyone's HUD, called the motion sensor? What is there to play smart with when enemies know which direction I'm coming from? If I approach from behind, they'll know. If I approach from the side, they'll know. Playing smart with Shoulder Charge; there is no such thing. It is a gimmick that is only useful against Thrall, and people who have no idea how the motion sensor works. Shoulder Charge is more detrimental than it is effective; that is why I have no love for the Titan's so-called "special ability."

Edited by MisterNoop: 6/14/2015 7:51:52 AMI mean while they're preoccupied. Whether they're sniping or shooting at someone else. Use it around corners. People who run with snipers have a hard time picking off a charging titan when they're jumping everywhere. I checked my crucible stats recently and my melee contributes for the second greatest source of my kills (following scout rifles). And guess where most of these melees come from. Shoulder charge. It's no gimmick. It truly is an amazing ability. It works anywhere, and my friend killed three people in one trials match with it today. Literally. He got wrecking ball from Shoulder charge alone. Those people were preoccupied between shooting me and our other player, and attempting to revive their fallen foes. He flanked them and ran away when they shot at him only to pull a 180 and finish them off. He played smart and it rewarded him. Many people I know who run titan have great success with shoulder charge. I don't know why you refuse to see that.

I've killed LOTS of bladedancers with shoulder charge and NO bladedancers with a knee...
-
I mean i guess.
-
Doesn't matter if it might be difficult to do. The point is that you can.
-
They favour Warlocks, then Hunters and lastly Titans - in that order.
-
Look at xur. The titan exotic is set at pre-how light level (lvl 30)

Yeah. I main warlock, and that pissed me off. Hadn't ever had them before, and I have to ascend them, even though it's post HoW.
