ToO tips for a n00b?
I've almost never played Crucible, and stuck to PvE
Mainly because I seriously suck in competition.
But with the Trials of Osiris, I really want to win, but lack the skills.
To all you veteran Guardians out there, do you have any tips on improving my PvP skill so I actually stand a chance?
I feel like I'm missing out on a major part of Destiny, and want the chance to enjoy it as well as you pros.
Any and all tips would be incredibly appreciated.

Communicate, adapt to what the opponent is doing, be aggressive, don't be afraid to stick with what works, abandon what doesn't work, stick together, revives are sometimes more important than kills, push the snipers with grenades and shot guns, take breaks in orbit to relieve tension, and did I mention communicate.
