You do, you're not locking yourself out of content, you just don't have the ability to get to that point. Say a game like an MMO has a variety of raids, but you are not able to complete it. That is on YOU, not the company who made the game. This game does not all revolve around easiness. If anything, the whole game id say has a mediocre difficulty.
