Got kicked because I sexually identify as a helicopter?!
So the other day I joined a group that was doing Oryx. I got in the game and they said hey (they all Sexually identified as humans) and as soon as I spoke they all started laughing cause I guess they didn't realize that had 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles in my pants when they invited me.
So we go through the raid and I didn't die once but they were constantly making rude Heliphobic remarks about how I suck because I sexually identified as a helicopter and how my blades where getting in front of there rockets. I did my best to put up with it but it was just so hard to believe that so many Humans disrespect people who sexually identified as a helicopter on there.
We get to Oryx and all of a sudden they all start yelling at the fireteam leader to kick me because I sexually identified as a helicopter and they need another Person who sexually identified as a human so they can actually beat Oryx. Needless to say I was not happy about being returned to orbit just because of my helicopter-ness and I powered off in oily-tears that night.
Why can't humans just be accepting like us Helicopter's are? Some people really need to check there vehicle privilege :(
Edit: I think the problem with attack helicopters is that others think we are total noobs. Well let me tell you something, we are not. There are the "stereotype" attack helicopters that just never played and of course are bad at playing when you give them a controller( doesn't help the only way we can play is by shooting the control pad). So will every guy for the first time playing with massive goddamn missiles. But then there are the "gamer" attack helicopters that know very well how to hold themselves.
Edit2: It's absolutely crazy to see how many people on here are calling me nasty names or have a horrible opinion on attack helicopters. Wow. The community is great! *note the sarcasm please*
Edit3: I take back Edit2. I know see that many of you are in vast support of helicopter in the gaming community. And some of you know other people who sexually identity as helicopters. However the main problem is still here and I can clearly see that many of you will never welcome me here :(

1 ReplyI'll cut to the chase we need OPTIONAL matchmaking in every thing. So in my opinion this is the difference between having a in game matchmaking and what we use today outside of the game for group matching. Today's way of endgame matchmaking. 1-Pick up phone 2-find lfg app that's wasting space on my phone 3- find a group that doesn't require the freaking gjallarhorn because I dont have one 4- once you find the group go into the message friend option on the console 5- try to spell the extremely long and ridiculous name of the person in charge of the group. 6- wait for response 7-get no response 8- repeat steps 1 through 6 9- finally get response 10- get Into group 11- halfway through RANDOM group people go afk or group fails. 12- repeat steps 1 through 11 The way it should be...... 1- start game 2- push matchmaking button 3-play game 4-have fun The elite payers can still have their premade games, people can still solo and the none elites can have matchmaking we all win!!!! All I ask is for the option.

Having been in the service where helicopters are allowed, even worshiped. I can't believe this happened to you. I've had so many helicopters put their rotors on the line for my soldiers and I so many times. Taking fire? No problem, they don't hesitate to rush in. Need them to maneuver a dust off in a boiling hot area because you have wounded? They'll do it while carrying multiple wounded, not just one. The helicopters I knew were so proficient that they have their own elite unit in the military. Keep your tail rotor spinning. There are many who have your back.

6 RepliesI feel you. My son (who came out as an M1 Abrams) was crying one night and said he got kicked from a PoE group because he was a tank. I helped him find another group that was more accepting of MBTs and he finished with the most kills. My son identifies as a 62 ton rolling mass of depleted uranium mesh-reinforced composite armor, and that's no reason to kick him from a team in a VIDEO GAME. The anti tank discrimination my son endures from M15 AT mines at school is bad enough, and it appears the online destiny community is no better. This sickening oppression needs to stop.
