Someone as organized and well spoken as OP would make an amazing Clan leader.
No disrespect to your opinion or feedback. Trying to make helpful suggestions.

The "leaving the game" argument is so weak in today's world. Its 2015, not 1997. Its a console game not PC. No need to close the game or minimize to browse websites. A vast majority of players have their smartphones sitting right next to them. Posting or checking lfg sites requires no more effort or time than sending a text.
-
No s*** it's 2015. I have a smartphone, tablet, and laptop with me all the time and know how to find people. The point is it takes too much time away from playing the actual game. It's called poor game design. Bungie can learn a thing or two from the Mass Effect and Gears of War developers. Optional in-game matchmaking would resolve this.
-
Wow. Just...wow. I can't speak for the OP, but running a clan takes time. If you acutely bothered to do your job and read all the posts asking for matchmaking, you'd realize that we want it because we don't have time. If we had time to run a clan, we probably wouldn't be so desperate for matchmaking.
-
Are you kidding me?
-
I get you don't want to implement matchmaking, but what about a built-in LFG? Still have to find our own group, but now we don't have to stop playing the game

Leaving the game is not an argument in these times...

Add Optional Match Matching for higher content with filters like microphone preferred.
-
Deej, many organized and we'll spoken players are asking for optional matchmaking Please pass this along the chain of decision makers
-
Deej 79% who hace voted disagree with you. If Bungie move the forums in game then that wiuld be a fair compromise. For example, say there was a terminal in the tower that helps players look for others to take on the challenge they have plan. Lets say I have my own group and I need to find one more. I can go to the terminal and put in that I am searching for one more and I can set the requirements that is needed to join my group. This would solve a lot of our problems.
-
Look deej if your worried I will flip out because we disagree then let me say it now. I don't mind you disagreeing just stop beating around the bush and express Bungivision's true opinion on MM. Let's talk one on one man to man. We both love the game. We are all trying to enjoy the game. Help us out here.
-
Ohhhhhhhhhh DeeJ! You just got called out man! It is ON!
-
He wants to create his own Destiny. Why does it have to include a clan?
-
This, bump!
-
DEEJ grow a pair and make your bosses understand the community is not happy with this game.
-
Your smug, snarky response is insulting. Community Mismanager

DeeJ I am already in a clan, already play most end of game content but I also like to help randoms. This is definitely a problem that you and your company will need to resolve somehow. Whatever the solution may be it needs to be part of the game.. I understand your resistance since most end game events require comminication between players to successfully complete. But giving us no ability to communicate with others in game in the social areas for recruitment was not a wise decision. Those without the means to communicate will quickly find out it is they who are limiting their own success and not you. We are not asking you to find us friends, only the necessary tools to do so ourselves in game. An open mic in the tower and or sign up boards for events would go a long way to remove much of the exclusion. Add an extra board for Sherpas with schedules when they are available, maybe offer them an extra leadership award of some type. There is so much you could do and it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
-
If you want to help randoms, post a group on LFG explaining you are willing to sherpa new players or those who have no or little experience in endgame activities.
-
Awesome post

-
Agreed.
-
You make a clan. That doesn't mean they are going to be on every minute you want to play or it sucks to use leadership skills to force people into a schedule too. If we got paid to play Destiny, sure, but as it stands bungie is expecting too much!
-
Try 100. It'll find you a group of players who will play on your preferred timezone.
-
It's one of the better, but it doesn't work for me nearly as well as matchmaking. I'm not trying to play the game, I'm trying to change it.
-
And when you find out matchmaking won't work out as well as you thought, then what? I'm not against you guys but when you are up against a a pre - made team in Trials that'll destroy you, can't get past the Templar or beat Crota and every week you constantly get kicked back to orbit because you team wiped during the NF, you'll soon feel disheartened.

Edited by George Suros : 5/30/2015 10:23:35 AMI've yet to have a bad experience on weekly heroic since they added mm to it so I'm ready for it on eveything! All I'm saying is, if you're scared to run a raid with randoms then fine, wait for your friends and do the raid. I'm going to go ahead and just instantly jump into a group and have fun! If it doesn't work I can try again later.
