This isn't about the amount of special synths people have.
The timer needs to reset on a hard wipe. You know, when you wipe in a darkness zone and go back to the last checkpoint. Sitting around for 3-4 minutes waiting for a heavy to come off CD so you can have another legitimate go at a boss is really boring, as is going in with no rockets hoping for a drop, plus it's frustrating.
I just think having the timer reset on a hard wipe (again, whole fireteam dies in a darkness area and you go back to a checkpoint) would be a nice quality of life improvement.

Lets say a boss fight you use a synth then wipe respawn shoot your 7 rocket on the target then pop a synth shoot 7 more....Wow if you want this game to be more boring then ask them to remove the timer its the same thing I mean with 14rocket per players you can reach any check point then wipe and do it again. Lets call this game Rockets at this point... Im out lol this comunity is the worst of them all.

If we are in a situation where a teammate doesn't have any rockets and is waiting for the synth to become available we just got out add hunting. Not only does it keep you on point but you can also get enough heavy ammo to drop that you don't have to worry about waiting 5 more minutes for another synth to become available.

You may not know this, but the time had been cut once, it was a 10 minute wait. We tried bypassing the count down timer, I backed out, reset my PS4 and everything, got back in the game and it was still counting down.

They need to just get rid of it. Who cares if we just want to chain pop them.

Or cut the CD time down...ie 1min for primary 2:30 for special and 3min for heavy....5 min across all seems really silly...

When you have a game almost void of any real game play they have to extend repetitive game play any way they can right down to waiting 5 min's instead of something more reasonable like 2 or 3 min's . Imagine waiting 4 to 6 months for the next DLC drop when people became 34's the first day and got to the lighthouse the first week...what the hell is left to do ??

I think the correct question you should ask yourself in this case is why are you wiping? Take those 5 minutes to discuss strategy so it doesn't happen again.

Timer needs to be reduced or done away with. At least be able to use a special and a heavy .

I don't think the cool down should apply to all synths. It should only apply to the synth type that you used.

They need to make the cooldown 2 minutes for primary and 3 for secondary.

What about a short cut to the synths as well. Having to dive into my menus just to get more ammo in the middle of a fight seems stupid when we have a perfectly good d-pad to use

I agree, exiting a combat zone should reset it. But the only way for it to not be abused would be for a wipe to orbit and that's only on a nightfall.

We should at least be able to use each kind of synth independent of each other's cool down times, if I pop a heavy but I'm out of special too, I don't want to wait 5 minutes to get special because I already popped a heavy

Don't forget they also need to hot key the damn things There's no reason to have 4 technically pointless despite fun animations and NOT have a way to simply press D-Up/Down/Left/Right and get my synth
