Yeah sure that'd be fine if it was legendary for that purpose. Exotic, just a wasted slot, half of a belt of machine gun ammo takes out the mines anyway. Crota can go down way faster and easier with a rocket.

Yeah I know that. My point still makes your point seem pointless. Sorry but SGA is SBA

Edited by H1jAcK: 5/28/2015 9:20:04 AMThat it takes your exotic slot? I'm using an elemental primary for end-game content anyway, and either a shotgun or Black Hammer. Yeah, I'd use Gjallerhorn before SGA, but SGA can get the job done. It's hardly a wasted spot. I'll give you downing Crota should only be done by rockets, but in every other situation that you can abuse the perk, SGA is just as viable. I'm not really sure what mines you're talking about, but if you mean the ones you destroy in PoE, a primary can take it out as fast as necessary.

I have no clue why you're defending the SGA, like at all.
-
Just having a friendly discussion. But seriously, what mines were you talking about?
-
Oh alright, You had it right. The mines in PoE that you have to shoot, then I realized those have health bars...
-
I'm interested if they count or not, though. I'll have to test it out. Thanks for the fun idea to make SGA even better!

True, true. Using any MG on Crota is, tbh, a bad idea, as you're either out of range or at risk of boomer fire. I like SGA (and Invective) for containment shield destruction. It may not be the best exotic, but I'm saying it has its place. If your only exotic is SGA, don't worry, it's good enough to get you all the way through VoG and half of PoE. Can't say the same of NLB!
