My name is Nuke, as the leader of Resolute Ascendancy, it is my pleasure to formally welcome you to our community page.
Resolute Ascendancy is community focused upon the principles of respectfulness, maturity, and togetherness. This means that the community is focused upon our members and their interactions. We accept our members based upon their behavior with other members of our group and not necessarily upon what or when they play. We care that our members enjoy their time while they are on and have the ability to play together. We accept members regardless on if they are the most casual or the most hardcore and only focus on if they gel with the group. Resolute Ascendancy is an open minded organization. This means that all people and their ideas are accepted within our community (so long as any ideas that are communicated are done in a respectful manner). This allows us the freedom to express ourselves within our community and come to a greater consensus. Our goal is to eventually become a cross platform community.
Rules and Regulations:
1. Respect: This is the primary principle upon which Resolute Ascendancy is founded and upon which all our principles are formed. We always play with respect with and toward the people we are playing with. This does not mean you can't defend yourself against malicious players but remember that we do not instigate. There is always the mute button and block functions.
2. Maturity: Maturity is a key component of being respectful. Although we are open minded organization, should an issue arise amongst members based upon an idea, members should have the maturity to refrain that discussion while within each other’s presence.
3. Open Mindedness: We are an open mindedness community that accepts all people and their ideas so long as these ideas and the people that espouse them are not hateful. If the person or idea should violate the first two rules, then it is no longer an accepted component in our open mindedness concept.
4. Play Obligations: Players within our community are under no obligations to play with one another. It is however common courtesy that should a player wish to play with another member, then that player ought to be able to join. As this relates to community events within Resolute Ascendancy: players that belong to our community will always have priority within our community events to those not present in our community. All community sanctioned events will be filled by Resolute Ascendancy members first before the general public.
5. Acceptance of Rules: All members will be required to read the rules and create a reply under this post affirming that the member has read the rules (posting "signed" or similar post is acceptable. This provides an implicit understanding on what we are as a community and that a member understands how they should act.
6. All Roles: These rules apply to all roles and members of our community, regardless of status.
7. Rules and Regulations Changes: Should the needs arise in which more rules are needed to be added, this section will be amended to reflect those changes. The new rule will be subsequently posted in the forums as a general announcement.
Rule Violations:
1st Offense: Verbal Warning
2nd Offense: Written Warning
3rd Offense: 48 hour ban from community events and 7 day probationary period.
4th Offense: 14 day Full community ban. 14 day probationary period. Requires submission of apology letter to forums
Subsequent Offenses will result in a ban from the community with re-admission at the discretion of leadership council vote.
Grievous Offenses will result in same status as 4th Offense or removal from community at Leadership Council discretion.
Offenses should be reported to a member of the Leadership Council.
Community Roles and Status:
Although everyone will be held as equal within the community and all rules apply to all members, there will always need to be a process for the management of the community. As such, there will be a leadership council that makes decisions for the community at large. These decisions amount to community direction, rule violation decisions, and probationary period evaluations. At the head of this council is the Community Leader. This leader has veto power over council decisions but that veto maybe overruled by unanimous council decision. The Vice-Leader position acts in lieu of the Community Leader position should that leader be indisposed. This means that the Vice-Leader has the same veto power over council decisions but may be overruled by unanimous decision by the Member Leader and the Probationary Leader. The Member Leader focuses upon managing the full members of Resolute Ascendancy. The Probationary Leader focuses upon new members under their probationary period and those members of Resolute Ascendancy that are under probationary status.
Leadership Council:
Community Leader: Nuke (xNUKExAROACHx)
Vice-Leader: Open
Member Leader: Open
Probationary Leader: Open
Resolute Ascendancy Member:
Resolute Ascendancy Members are members of the community in good standing (not on probation) and are eligible for all community activities.
Probationary Status:
Probationary status is a status in which any offenses during this period will result in the immediate application of a 48 hour ban from community activities. This status is given to new members during their new member probationary period (7 days) and those members subject to previous violations.
Resolute Ascendancy aims to be a community in which we can all enjoy our time together. We want to grow as a community and be a positive influence on the platforms and games that we play. It is because of this that there is such a high standard placed upon our members.
We hope to welcome you into our community and can’t wait to play some Destiny together. Good luck out there Guardians.
