Is Earth actually round?
Think about this. You've probably seen pictures of Earth on the internet. But have you actually seen that it is round? You can only look at the Earth from one perspective, so there is no possible way for you to see that Earth is round. I personally believe that Earth is round, but what do YOU think?

If you go several miles out to sea, you can't see the coast anymore

It's flat because if it wasn't planes would fly out of the world as earth curved away. Also spaceships wouldn't be able to because atmosphere and space would be circles to and it would get turned around. Also maps are flat so Earth must be to.

Two things: 1. It's actually an ellipse. It's not perfectly round 2. There is another perspective that it's spherical, which is how they discovered this back on the day. You can see the curvature of the planet on the open sea of you look off in the distance. I really hope I wasn't trolled...
