It's not that hard to tell honestly. It's all about the words you use. If you have passion about something you generally use more powerful and emotional words.

Your use of italics, capitalizing a whole word, and particularly the use of the word superfluous. That word doesn't often come up in conversation.

I like words. Superfluous is one of my favorites. I prefer to use it over "useless", "pointless", "unnecessary", or just "stupid", but use the others simply because reusing adjectives again and again is a habit I try to avoid. As for emphasizing things... it is what it is.

Reading emotion in writing comes easy when all your English teachers emphasize analyzing poems.
