So by the title you can see I finished the game.
This game was absolutely phenomenal. From the soundtrack, to the gameplay, to the plot it was outstanding. I just can't believe that I never beat it before now.
Now I have question: What exactly happened at the end?
Did Alan Wake make it where he has to disappear in order to save his wife (like a sacrifice)? Was that Nightingale on the type right behind Rose? Is Rose crazy now (because she definitely looked like it)
I have a lot of questions about the end. So if anyone who has beat the game that would like to help fill me in on what exactly happened that'd be great.
But anyways, amazing game!

I love that game.

Here's what I understood: Alan realized that he couldn't save both him and his wife, so he chose her. I think Rose becomes the new lady of the light, Barry moves on to produce for the Old Gods of Asgard, unsure of his wife's fate post game, there are two DLC and American Nightmare to show what happened to Alan. I think they wanted a series out of this, but no one liked it enough, so most questions remain unsolved, and the Studio moved to Quantum Break.

It's been a long time since I played the game, so my memory is reeeeeeeally damn sketchy. But, apparently, Alan essentially falls deeper down the rabbit hole. There's some DLC that comes out that explains more. But it was a phenominal game, yes. Very underratted and fitting into a very unique genre of games that are rare today.

Let's all submit this to MatPat of Game Theory.
